
HF-15B High Frequency Spark Tester
The HF-15B High Frequency Spark Tester is designed for continuous in-line testing of insulated wire and cable during manufacturing. Utilizing Clinton Instrument's proven 3kHz high-frequency testing technology, the HF-15B detects pinholes, insulation faults, and other defects that can affect product quality and reliability.
The HF-15B is particularly well suited for testing smaller wire sizes at high production speeds and in applications where a direct ground connection to the conductor is not possible or practical. Its high-frequency design provides dependable fault detection while supporting a wide range of wire and cable manufacturing processes.
With support for industry-standard communication protocols, configurable relay outputs, and multiple electrode options, the HF-15B can be integrated into both new and existing production lines. When properly applied with an application-appropriate electrode, the system meets the requirements of UL 2556, UL 1581, and IEC 62230.
