PLASTIC PARTS
Plastic parts can be tested quickly and cost-effectively during production to verify product integrity and identify manufacturing defects before they reach the customer. Clinton Instrument testing systems detect pinholes, short shots, gels, carbon or metal inclusions, knit lines, and a wide variety of other defects in molded, extruded, welded, thermoformed, and die-cut plastic products.
Tooling costs are typically minimal, and testing can often be performed in-line during production or off-line as part of a quality control process.
Outputs to process control systems are available to facilitate data collection and the automatic rejection of defective parts across our entire product line.
Fast test-cycle times allow our equipment to keep pace with high-speed manufacturing processes and can be configured for rotary, batch, and single-shot applications.
